Overview
The RE Series is a competitively priced zero-backlash reducer that achieves high accuracy, rigidity, and speed. It offers versatility for use with various types of motors.
RollerDrive CNC Technology


Features
Zero Backlash
The RollerDrive uses a unique preload mechanism to completely eliminate backlash and deliver output motions that are faithfully true to input commands. Positioning accuracy is particularly good with direction reversing motions.
High Accuracy
This reducer uses its zero backlash mechanism to deliver good positioning accuracy and runout accuracy.
High Speed
Max output speed 150 rpm
Drive Style Options
Choose coupling clamp style or timing belt style drive.
High Rigidity
Uses a solid-piece forged cast iron housing for strong rigidity.

Output Allowable Load
The output shaft of the RollerDrive® RE Series has a built-in taper roller bearing.
Use within the allowable radial, axial, and moment loads given below.

Support both ends with bearings or similar devices if the radial or moment loads are 50% or higher than the values given in the table.



Drive Specifications
A servomotor can be mounted to the RollerDrive® RE Series.
The servomotor can be linked to the drive with a coupling (suitable for high-gain settings for high-speed, precision motions), or a hypoid gear and timing belt (ideal for precision motions with heavy inertia).
